Second Church of Christ Scientist, Wichita, Kansas 4501 E. Douglas Ave. (3 blocks west of Oliver/Douglas) Sunday Service and Sunday School for children and teens begins at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday evening testimony meetings are at 6:30 p.m. Locally, Christian Science has been actively practiced since the 1880's.

Not familiar with Christian Science Reading Rooms? Come see what you are missing! It is part bookstore, part library/spiritual resource center with Bibles, Bible study tools, The Christian Science Monitor, and materials about Christian Science including a 100+ year record of healing. Really, it is a place to consider spiritual solutions to today's problems. Explore how others are approaching personal, community, national, and global issues from a spiritual perspective. Come check it out with an expection of healing.

Monday mornings on Cable channel 4 (non-cable 24) you can watch the Christian Science Weekly Bible Lesson at 8:30 a.m. This Bible Lesson is studied by Christian Scientists world-wide during the week and read during the Sunday morning service in addition to prayer and hymns.

The weekly Sentinel Radio Program may be heard Sunday mornings at 8:30 a.m. on KNSS 1330 AM. You will hear how individuals found spiritual solutions to problems of health, finances, relationships and other issues of individual and international interest.

Once or twice a year, area Christian Scientists sponsor lectures by a national or international speaker to look at how to spiritually address issues of interest in our community. If you would like to be notified of upcoming free lectures, please email us.
